I'm a developer in New York City. I work at Blockstack, an open-source cryptocurrency startup. We are building the infrastructure to create a user-centered internet through decentralized applications.

Previously, I was at MemSQL aka Singlestore (worked on Kubernetes operator as backend engineer on cloud team), IAM Robotics (developed multi-robot simulator, helped in re-design of several servers), Amazon Robotics (researched/built a distributed machine learning training pipeline), and Google (developed experimental features at Youtube Ads and performed A/B testing).

I graduated from the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University, where I majored in computer science and minored in robotics.

Within my major, I most enjoyed learning (and then teaching) functional programming and distributed systems. Outside my major, I enjoyed my courses in linguistics and philosophy.
